Job Summary
Vascular Ultrasound TechnologistJoin a patient-centered clinical team where your vascular ultrasound expertise directly supports timely diagnosis, treatment planning, and high-quality care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, produce high-quality images, and collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to support exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role
In this role, you will prepare patients for vascular ultrasound procedures, operate ultrasound equipment, obtain and review diagnostic images, document exam findings, and communicate relevant information to physicians and other healthcare providers. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented imaging professional who values accuracy, patient comfort, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
Essential Functions
- Prepare patients for vascular ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, positioning patients appropriately, and applying ultrasound gel.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, including transducers, monitors, and related imaging systems, to obtain diagnostic images of blood vessels and surrounding anatomy.
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and departmental procedures.
- Review ultrasound images to identify normal and abnormal vascular findings and ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
- Document exam findings, patient information, and procedure details accurately in the medical record and applicable imaging systems.
- Communicate exam findings and relevant patient information to physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain equipment readiness, cleanliness, and safety; report equipment issues or quality concerns as appropriate.
- Support efficient patient flow by coordinating with clinical, administrative, and scheduling teams as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate compassionate, professional interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Comply with all organizational, departmental, regulatory, safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - Radiologic Technology
Preferred Qualifications
- State Sonographer License
- BLS
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - RDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist - RVT
