Billing Coordinator

Description

Foreman Friedman, P.A. is a boutique maritime and admiralty defense litigation firm in Miami representing cruise lines, shipping companies, and international insurers in complex admiralty and personal injury matters. We're hiring a Billing Coordinator to own our billing production cycle end to end.

You'll be responsible for:

• Generating draft prebills each billing cycle for attorney review
• Following up directly with attorneys on missing or incomplete time entries
• Finalizing and sending client invoices once prebills are approved
• Entering billable costs in Clio
• Preparing and submitting LEDES e-billing files to insurance carrier portals (AIG, Carnival, and others)
• Handling e-billing rejections and appeals when a carrier reduces or bounces an invoice
• Posting AR payments in Clio
• Producing and monitoring AR aging reports
• Tracking vendor bills (read-only) and preparing checks for review
• Preparing payroll for review and processing in Paylocity

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Experience with legal billing and e-billing platforms (Clio, CounselLink, Legal-X, or similar) strongly preferred
• Comfortable following up with attorneys on outstanding items
• High attention to detail — this role requires zero-error invoice totals and LEDES formatting
• Prior law firm or professional services billing experience a plus
• Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage a recurring monthly production cycle
