Overview

Job Summary: Assists Physician as Scrub Tech During Cardiac Procedures /Pacemaker Implants. Maneuvers X-Ray equipment into rotated/skewed ositions to acquire Diagnostic images of the heart or other anatomic areas as needed. Assists with inventory and supplies, assists in transport of patients to and from Cath Lab

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

1.    Advanced EKG interpretation /Blood Pressure/ Oxygen

2.   Operations of various equipment: Digital X-Ray Equipment, Hemodynamic Monitor.

       3.   Intravascular Ultrasound/ Doppler Pressure Wire, Pressure Injector

       4.   Intra- Aortic Balloon Pump

       5.   Assist Physician in Pacemaker implantation/ Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization

       6.   Inventory/supply procurement/ Billing /Coding

 

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge,Skills and Experience Required: 

 

Skills:  Basic Computer, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Basic EKG Interpretation, Operation and Manipulation of X-Ray Equipment ,Intravascular Ultrasound/Doppler Pressure wire.

 

 Experience Required:  One year Cardiac Cath Lab or Neurovascular/ Peripheral Vascular Angiography Lab.  

                                                                                                                         

Education:  2 Years  Accredited School of Radiologic Technology/ Current State and National Registry ACLS/BCLS.
