Bilingual Training & Localization Specialist

 About the Role
ParallelDots is onboarding an FMCG company in South Korea on our AI-powered retail execution platform, ShelfWatch.
We are looking for a bilingual Korean-English professional based in South Korea to serve as our on-ground partner for
training delivery and document localization. This person will be the primary point of coordination between the Korean
client team and our India-based delivery team.

 Key Responsibilities
● Translate project documents from English to Korean - BRDs, training manuals, SOPs, app, and user guides
● Localize content for Korean corporate tone and formality standards and not just literal translation
● Independently deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to client teams at South Korea
● Act as the primary on-ground liaison between the client's Korean team and the ParallelDots India project team
● Participate in regular project sync calls with the India team during IST/KST overlap hours
● Flag cultural or communication nuances that could impact training outcomes or client satisfaction
● Support UAT sessions and gather client feedback in Korean; summaries and relay to the India team in English

Required Qualifications
● Native Korean speaker with strong command of business and formal Korean
● Proficient in written and spoken English (B2/C1 minimum); able to participate in all-English internal project calls
● 2+ years of experience in a training, localization, or client-facing role
● Comfortable working part-time with a remote offshore team (India IST, some evening availability expected)
● Strong communication and facilitation skills, able to manage training sessions independently Nice to Have
● Experience in retail, FMCG, CPG, field sales automation, or SaaS product training
● Prior experience working with Indian or multinational technology companies
● Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, or project management platforms
● Understanding of Korean retail / modern trade environment

Working Arrangement
This is a part-time engagement based out of South Korea. Day-to-day work involves remote coordination with the
ParallelDots India team via Slack, email, and video calls. On-site presence at Client's location in South Korea will be
required during training milestones. Overlap hours with the India team are expected during KST evenings.
