About this role
We are seeking a forward‑thinking Director to join our Cyber Resilience practice at a pivotal moment in the firm’s growth. This role blends deep cybersecurity expertise with the emerging frontier of AI‑enabled professional services delivery. You will help clients solve complex security challenges while redefining how modern advisory work is delivered.
You will win and lead client engagements across cyber resilience services, shaping how AI‑enabled delivery is applied across the practice. Rather than being expected to build every solution personally, you will set direction, identify high‑value use cases, guide technical teams, and help translate emerging technologies into scalable, repeatable advisory services.
What You’ll Do:
Trusted advisor: Act as a senior point of contact, building long‑term client relationships and identifying opportunities to help them manage cyber threats and risks in complex environments.
Executive bridging and technology fluency: Provide outcome‑focused recommendations that connect executive stakeholders with technical delivery teams, ensuring technology decisions are commercially relevant, risk‑informed, and practical to implement.
Business development: Drive market activation, client presentations, and thought leadership.
Internal innovation: Define the roadmap for AI‑enabled delivery across cyber resilience offerings, including where agentic workflows, automation, and knowledge assets can improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
AI integration: Identify and shape opportunities to apply AI technologies, including agentic AI, knowledge engineering, retrieval and RAG, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics, to enhance cyber resilience offerings, operational efficiency, and client outcomes. Work with technical specialists to design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Automation and delivery enablement: Sponsor and guide the use of automation to streamline delivery, clarify requirements for technical teams, and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to client outcomes.
Practice development: Contribute to internal platforms, accelerators, and knowledge bases; mentor junior colleagues and foster a culture of innovation.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: 8–14 years of cybersecurity experience in professional services, consulting, or senior in‑house advisory roles.
Domain breadth: Strong understanding of how identity & access management, cloud security, endpoint protection, network security, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management capabilities contribute to cyber resilience outcomes.
Frameworks: Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and sector‑specific guidance.
Security operations capability: Strong appreciation of how SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, case management, and response tooling can be applied to improve detection, response, governance, and operational maturity.
Regulation: Understanding of regulatory landscapes such as GDPR, NIS2, DORA, PCI‑DSS, or equivalents.
AI & automation strategy: Ability to identify where AI, automation, and agentic workflows can create value in cyber advisory delivery, including assessing suitability, risks, controls, operating impacts, and implementation pathways.
LLM and RAG literacy: Practical understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, orchestration concepts, document ingestion, vector stores, grounding, and RAG patterns, with the ability to guide design choices and challenge technical approaches.
Responsible AI: Familiarity with responsible AI principles, prompt engineering best practices, and LLM security considerations.
Platform understanding: Familiarity with enterprise security, identity, endpoint, cloud, data protection, workflow automation, and modern cloud data platforms, including how these capabilities can be used to support cyber resilience and AI‑enabled delivery.
Technology leadership: Sufficient technical depth to shape solution requirements, review technical options, oversee implementation teams, and make informed trade‑offs, without needing to be the primary hands‑on developer or engineer.
Consulting & leadership: Strong communication skills, proven client management, business development capability, and experience mentoring and directing junior technical and advisory team members.
Why Join Us
Cutting edge: Work at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI in a genuinely modern advisory role.
Variety: Client‑facing work across sectors and security domains—no two engagements are the same.
Autonomy: Real ownership over internal tooling and how the practice uses AI.
Team: A collaborative, high‑calibre team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
Progression: Competitive compensation, professional development support, and a clear path to Partner for the right individual.
Desirable Certifications
Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior qualification.
Security & AI: Security operations, identity, cloud, or AI‑related certifications.
Architecture: SABSA, TOGAF, or similar architecture qualifications.
Assessment: Penetration testing / assessment certifications are advantageous.
Cloud: Certifications across major cloud providers.
