Location – Seoul, South Korea
This role within HNC Regulatory Affairs (RA) is responsible for developing and executing regulatory strategies that support product lifecycle management, regulatory advocacy, and the expansion of existing and innovative products into new markets. The position plays a key role in enabling business growth by identifying regulatory opportunities and ensuring that products meet the applicable regulatory requirements across the assigned segment or region.
As the primary Regulatory Affairs contact, the role collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Operations, Product Management, and regional leadership teams. Serving as the single point of accountability for regulatory matters, the position provides strategic regulatory guidance, ensures compliance, and manages all regulatory activities to support business objectives and product commercialization.
In addition, the role drives and supports regulatory advocacy initiatives, manages regulatory issues and risks, and contributes to segment, product, and regional strategy development through expert regulatory insight. Acting as a bridge across different products, segments, and regions, the position facilitates knowledge sharing and promotes best practices to strengthen collaboration and consistency across the global HNC Regulatory Affairs community.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regulatory strategies to support product lifecycle management, market expansion, and successful commercialization of existing and innovative Health, Nutrition & Care (HNC) solutions.
- Serve as the primary Regulatory Affairs partner for cross-functional stakeholders, including Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Quality, Operations, and Product Management teams, providing regulatory guidance throughout product development and commercialization.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for products across assigned markets and segments by interpreting regulations, assessing requirements, and managing regulatory activities and submissions.
- Lead regulatory assessments and provide strategic advice on product classification, claims substantiation, labeling, registrations, notifications, and other market access requirements.
- Drive regulatory advocacy initiatives by engaging with industry associations, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders to influence regulatory developments and protect business interests.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks, providing clear recommendations and action plans to support informed business decision-making and safeguard compliance.
- Manage regulatory projects end-to-end, including submission planning, authority interactions, stakeholder alignment, timeline management, and delivery of regulatory milestones.
- Monitor evolving regulatory trends and requirements, sharing insights, best practices, and learnings across regional and global Regulatory Affairs teams to support business growth and regulatory excellence.

You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science; Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Food Science, Food Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical or food industry
- Proven track record of successful regulatory submissions and approvals
- Strong understanding of country guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Native in Korean and business level in English is required to work with internal and external stakeholder
