Description
We're looking for an Industrial Technician to join our growing Manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite machine guarding assessments at manufacturing facilities
- Support the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of machine guarding systems
- Assist with troubleshooting and modifying machine guarding solutions in active production environments
- Develop and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other machine safety documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and operations personnel to implement practical safety improvements
- Coordinate equipment procurement and installation activities
- Support both new and existing clients on industrial safety and machine guarding projects
- Travel to client facilities throughout New England, with occasional travel outside the region based on project needs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, production equipment, manufacturing, or a related technical field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with production equipment maintenance, industrial automation, or related industrial systems
- Familiarity with OSHA General Industry Standards and ANSI B11 machine safety standards
- Experience supporting the design, fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning of machine guarding systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel primarily throughout New England, with occasional travel outside the region as project needs require
