Overview

This is a two-year post-doctoral appointment (with possible one-year renewal) to provide advance research training to individuals with a doctoral degree in a field relevant to health behavior change and a strong research background. The purpose of the position is to bring high quality research personnel at an early stage of their career, to the hospital in a temporary capacity. The individual will do research in collaboration with the research team to further the goals in the Health Services and Outcomes Research division. The appointee will be expected to publish their findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original research in the general areas of health behavior related research projects conducted by a large multi institutional collaborative group working with both children and adults and spanning a broad spectrum of research approaches in quantitive, qualitative and community engagement methods
• Develop hypothesis and designs of community and clinal-base behavioral interventions. Apply methods of formative research and implementation science.  Develop behavioral change research design experience in the areas of maternal and child health, health disparities, patient centered outcomes, patient provider communication, and HIV.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.39/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
