We’re bringing a fresh chapter to Dicey’s Pub in Cleveland, celebrating everything people love about a true Irish pub - hearty food, great drinks, live entertainment and a welcoming local atmosphere.
With a refreshed venue, an exciting line-up of entertainment and a menu packed with Irish-inspired dishes and classic pub favourites, Dicey’s is all about bringing people together.
We’re looking for passionate hospitality all-rounders to join our Front of House team. Whether you’re confident behind the bar, love delivering great floor service or have experience supporting and leading a team, there’s an opportunity to make your mark.
About the Opportunity
As part of the Dicey’s team, you’ll help create the kind of local pub experience guests return to - from relaxed meals and after-work drinks to live sport, entertainment and weekend catch-ups.
You’ll work across our bar, bistro and sports bar areas, supporting smooth service and helping create a friendly, lively environment for our locals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering friendly, attentive service across the bar and floor
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Supporting bar operations, food running and bistro service
- Helping maintain a clean, welcoming and well-presented venue
- Building relationships with regular guests and creating a great local atmosphere
- Supporting busy service periods, live sport and entertainment
- Working closely with the wider team to keep service running smoothly
- For senior roles, supporting team members, maintaining service standards and assisting with day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for reliable, energetic hospitality professionals who enjoy working in a busy, community-focused venue.
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong bar, floor service or food and beverage experience preferred.
- For supervisor roles, experience supporting or leading a hospitality team
- A genuine passion for customer service and creating great guest experiences
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends
- Current Queensland RSA
- Reliable own transport is essential, as public transport access may be limited, particularly for late-night finishes
- Valid Australian working rights
