What You'll Do
In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot and repair industrial and commercial cleaning and packaging equipment, ensuring customers always receive reliable, high-quality service. Responsibilities include:
- Testing equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, sweepers, etc.) to determine issues.
- Repairing or replacing parts, performing adjustments, and retesting equipment.
- Completing detailed service reports for every job.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
- Traveling to customer sites to perform repairs and build strong relationships.
- Setting up and testing new equipment prior to delivery.
- Supporting fellow Service Technicians and other departments as needed.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and sound decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75–125 lbs., work in tight spaces, and perform physical movements such as bending, kneeling, crouching.
Work Environment
- Warehouse environment with exposure to dust, temperature changes, and fragrances or odors from cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Moderate noise levels typical of industrial settings.
