As an experienced mortgage professional, you’ve built your success by forming trusted relationships, navigating complex lending scenarios, and guiding people through important decisions. You’re a connector who brings borrowers, referral partners, and lending solutions together. In this role, you’ll guide borrowers through a range of home-finance options, from traditional mortgages to specialized and more complex transactions. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your pipeline, build business and referral relationships, and recommend lending solutions that support borrowers’ goals while meeting sound lending standards.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Originate a wide range of full solution products while delivering an exceptional borrower experience.
- Build and strengthen relationships with real estate professionals, community partners, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage complex lending situations, including self-employed borrowers, non-traditional income structures, investment properties, construction financing, portfolio products, and other specialized loan requests.
- Evaluate challenging financial scenarios and structure mortgage solutions that meet member needs while maintaining regulatory and underwriting requirements.
- Maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of applications from initial consultation through closing.
- Stay current on agency, government, portfolio, secondary market, and specialty lending programs.
- Provide guidance on mortgage regulations, lending practices, product eligibility, and market trends.
- Deliver accurate, timely communication throughout the lending process while maintaining high standards for quality, compliance, and service.
- Represent the organization within the community to enhance market presence and support long-term growth objectives.

Requirements
The Experience and Strengths We Value
- 3-5 years of mortgage loan origination and relationship management experience.
- Proven success developing business through self-generated leads, networking, and referral partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products, underwriting principles, and lending regulations.
- Experience managing complex borrower scenarios and high-volume production pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain lending concepts clearly and confidently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Active NMLS registration.
