Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and deliver compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor flow while supporting a welcoming environment for patients and guests.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
