About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Assistant who can provide ongoing support to our Procurement Operations. You will be responsible for researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, updating order records, and creating and translating cost analysis reports. You will be responsible for shipment, storage, and distribution of all kinds of deliveries, accounting for all assets, managing stock, and managing fleet concerns. 

 

What you’ll do

• Maintain updated fixed asset inventory

• Maintain updated internal databases

• Sourcing and Research of potential vendors

• Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers

• Prepare cost analyses

• Plan shipments of assets/goods based on the availability of the end user

• Coordinate and monitor the delivery of ordered goods are properly received 

• Organize communication and delivery of units to repair shops or warranty stores

• Coordinate with designated personnel or logistics providers to ensure assets are properly packed and secured before shipment

• Coordinate with designated personnel to facilitate the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming deliveries.

• Provide information to internal and external customers about the status of deliveries

• Responsible for materials and warehouse management

• Responsible for fixed assets management - overseeing transfer/turnover of assets to end users

• Ensures that disposals of assets are authorized and properly documented

• Investigating lost/damaged fixed assets and processing request/ claim for insurance (if eligible)

• Maintain a list of property and equipment 

• Other Tasks related to the position

 

What You Bring

• Bachelor's/College degree 

• 1-2 years of experience in the related field

• Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices; experience in warehousing is required

• Highly organized, productive, and detail-oriented, with a solutions mindset

• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Google Slides 

 

 Nice to Have

• Exposure to BPO industry is a plus
