You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pre-Employment Requirements: To ensure that we attract and select the most qualified candidates, the following pre-employment requirements must be clearly communicated in all relevant correspondence:

Law Enforcement Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience.

Security Supervisor/Manager Experience:

• Alternatively, candidates may qualify with 2 or more years of experience in a security supervisor or manager role.

General Security Experience:

• Candidates may also meet the requirements with 3 or more years of general security experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
