Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards. Perform venipunctures where applicable and obtain/prepare blood specimens according to Piedmont policies. Assist technical staff in non-clinical tasks. Requires H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No experience required, but 1 year of phlebotomist experience, EKG experience, and healthcare/clinical laboratory experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency preferred.
