Overview
As a Seal Repair Technician at John Crane, you will be responsible for all processes related to disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment under general supervision. Your duties include following repair job packets to perform DCI (Dismantle Clean and Inspect), documenting wear and condition of critical seal components, completing inspection forms with photos, and using inspection equipment for proper documentation. You'll identify and evaluate returned materials, determine repair operations, perform simple shop operations, and assemble seals once repairs are approved. Requirements include high school diploma, minimum 2 years of mechanical seal equipment experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical, power, or upstream markets, and mechanical/technical aptitude.
