Overview
This role works under the direction of Registered Physical Therapists to provide home care physical therapy services to patients. Responsibilities include preventing disability, relieving pain, developing/improving motor function, and maintaining maximum physical performance within patients' capabilities. The position requires traveling to various locations 3+ times per week and working day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with PTA licensure in MA.

We are searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: VNA Rehab – Fairhaven, MA; This position is to cover a variety of towns starting in Dighton, Berkley & Taunton/Raynham area
Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Registered Physical Therapist, work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the person�s capabilities.
Qualifications
- An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience required. Home care experience preferred.
- Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
- CPR certification is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range
USD $29.58 - USD $40.80 /Hr.Skills
