Outside Sales -Roofing and Siding Specialist Responsibilities:

This position requires a dynamic salesperson who will be selling to contractors, retail clients, and architects. In this vital role, you will identify and develop prospective customers, assist customers with purchasing decisions; advise them on selection, and process billing of materials. Much of your time will involve strong customer interaction via in person and phone communications. This position also requires answering phone calls from customers and vendors, setting up deliveries and advising on the estimated time of arrival for materials. The successful candidate will interact with manufacturers in regards to quotes and lead times. Candidate is expected to travel to customers and job-sites.

Requirements

Must demonstrate a positive, professional and courteous demeanor that represents the company professionally.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent or 3-5 years of  related work experience / training.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of database software.
• Masonry and Hardscapes experience preferred.
• Experience reading architectural plans for takeoffs preferred

For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected compensation for this position ranges from 60k - 90k commensurate with experience and potential commission opportunities are available.
