The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

The Role

Conviva is seeking a dedicated – Medical Receptionist– who is interested in growing with the company and being a part of something great!

Receptionist Job Functions:

• You will operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs
• You will schedule appointments
• You will verify insurances
• You will collect patient charges

You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Boerne Care Center located at 136 Old San Antonio Rd Suite 406 Boerne, TX 78006

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office
• Six months to one year of multi phone line experience
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years related experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Associate degree
• Experience with ECW
• Knowledge of Medical terminology

Additional Information

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
