Description
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 0-2 years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience. Experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software. Experience with hardware system validation and standard measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, etc.). Ability to travel internationally to India, Taiwan, Europe, and China as required by project schedules Architect, design, develop, and evaluate electronic systems, select components, and learn or guide PCB layout for retail and industrial electronic equipment. Collaborate with internal or 3rd party manufacturing contacts to fabricate hardware systems Verify and test designs to ensure requirements and compliance Develop new and impactful Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of designs to ensure implementation meets appropriate power, performance, area, compliance, and cost Coordinates or conducts specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, etc.) to verify design performance
