Responsibilities

The Opportunity  

 

The GP MRO Buyer will support the MRO category across Central America and the Caribbean, helping ensure supply continuity, competitive sourcing and compliance.

 

The role will support the execution of procurement strategies, negotiations, supplier and contract management, and the tracking of contract status, dashboards and KPIs. It will also support the SOX Controls agenda, myBuy and SAP adoption, and process improvements in partnership with users and global stakeholders.

 

Your Impact  

 

As an MRO Buyer, you will:

 

Category Strategy & Transformation

  • Support the CARICAM MRO procurement agenda across OPEX and CAPEX, covering approximately US$30MM in annual spend.
  • Contribute to category planning, MyBuy readiness and stakeholder alignment across Guatemala and El Salvador.

Productivity & Negotiation

  • Execute supplier negotiations, bidding processes and payment-term improvement initiatives to strengthen commercial value and cash flow.
  • Support the delivery of 3–7% year-over-year productivity through more than 30 initiatives annually.

Supplier Management

  • Support supplier selection, development and performance evaluation across CARICAM.
  • Follow up on service, quality, cost, risks and corrective action plans.

Governance & Compliance

  • Partner with Procurement, Make and Category Leadership to track KPIs, support execution and align category priorities.
  • Ensure supplier and purchasing processes follow PepsiCo requirements, including Code of Conduct, TPDD and supplier master-data processes.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?  

 

Academic Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, maintenance, spare parts, supplier management or related technical environments.
  • Exposure to Procurement, sourcing or negotiation is a plus.

Tools & Languages

  • Advanced English – fluency required.
  • Excel: Intermediate.
  • SAP knowledge for transactions and reporting.
  •  Power BI and other digital tools are a plus.
  • Ariba/Icertis experience is a plus.
