Be part of the Manufacturing Technology & Innovation team located at the Vietnam Manufacturing site. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions that enhance manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency across Swarovski's jewelry production network.
By working closely with production, engineering, quality, and external equipment suppliers, you will transform manufacturing challenges into innovative mechanical solutions. From concept design to machine deployment, you will play a key role in bringing automation ideas to life and supporting the future of smart manufacturing.
- Design and develop mechanical systems, machines, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
- Analyze production challenges and identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational excellence.
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications using CAD tools.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, tolerance analysis, and design validation to ensure reliable machine performance.
- Manage and collaborate with equipment suppliers throughout design, fabrication, installation, and machine acceptance activities.
- Support equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and production ramp-up to ensure successful implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and engineering records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver automation projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent who brings along the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, automation engineering, manufacturing engineering, or machine development within an industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience in machine design, fixture design, automation systems, and mechanical problem solving.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or similar design platforms.
- Knowledge of automation components, including pneumatic systems, actuators, motion systems, sensors, and machine safety principles.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and external partners.
- Good English communication skills and a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and technology-driven manufacturing.
