Job Description
Town and Country Supply is looking for a Propane Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining residential and commercial propane systems.
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair propane systems and equipment.
- Install and service propane piping, regulators, tanks, and related equipment.
- Perform leak tests and safety inspections.
- Identify and correct unsafe or outdated equipment and make repair recommendations.
- Complete service tickets, work orders, inspections, estimates, and other required documentation.
- Educate customers on the safe operation and maintenance of propane equipment.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with other company operations when needed.

Requirements

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-minded.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and service equipment.
- Willingness to learn and complete required propane training and certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is a plus.
- Previous propane, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or related experience is a plus.
