Job Description:
Job Summary
Technician I provides technical and operational support for the assembly and testing of test hardware used in engineering and production environments. The role supports PCB assembly activities, material handling, documentation, and general administrative tasks to help ensure efficient and accurate test support operations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Material handling: Move materials from warehouse to lab using carts to stock
Hand soldering: Solder PCBs and test hardware manually
Bill of Materials (BOM) reviews: Review and manage component lists
1. Check part numbers and component availability
2. Request purchases for out-of-stock items
3. Identify and replace obsolete components
4. Update BOM documentation
Work log maintenance: Update work logs for tracking and traceability
Basic troubleshooting of test hardware
Component replacement: Find and replace defective components during testing
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education Level
Graduate of at least 2-year Technology course in Electronics, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics
Working experience
Preferably one (1) year of experience in PCB assembly, Semiconductor, Electronics company, or a related field
Fresh graduate could be considered
Other Requirements
Goal-oriented and focused on team targets
Driven to learn and constantly upgrade skills
Flexible to work overtime during peak production
Ready to deploy to other lab sites as needed.
Proficient in reading schematics and block diagrams
Skilled in analyzing technical datasheets.
Capable in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
