Summary

As a member of the food service team, a Busser will have the primary responsibility of ensuring the dining room is properly maintained to give the guests the best experience possible.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Keep the dining room clean including, vacuuming, cleaning and refilling table condiments, polishing glasses and silverware, prepping bread and butter, filling ice container, and pop machine, maintaining linens in organized manner and have clean rags and sanitizer prepared.  
• Bus and reset tables between guests.  
• Assists wait staff in refilling water, butters, and sugars.  
• Learn the place setting for each meal, assist with resetting for mealtimes by rolling silverware and folding napkins.  
• Greet and assist guests, alert servers if needed. 
• Clean the front of the house and wait at the station to ensure the restaurant is clean and organized.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Must give exceptional service to all guests.  
• Must be able to troubleshoot and create solutions if needed.  
• High school diploma or equivalent required.  
• Must be fluent in English, bilingual a plus.  

Work Environment

 This position is in an indoor setting in a controlled, temperate environment; however, some job assignments may be in facilities that have windows open to the outside and may be exposed to the heat or cold.

• Frequent walking and standing for prolonged periods of time.

• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.  
• Perform repetitive tasks. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

 This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Saturday. Shifts vary based on business needs and the needs of the customer. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
