As a Facility Coordinator, you will support the daily operation and management of our facilities. This hands-on role combines practical facility support with facility coordination, administration, and supplier management. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning workplace.

As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing and coordinating day-to-day janitorial and facility activities.
• Following up on internal control activities and facility-related actions.
• Performing and coordinating maintenance, repairs, and external service providers.
• Obtaining quotations and managing suppliers and service agreements.
• Creating purchase requisitions and monitoring facility purchase orders and invoices.
• Following up on building-related issues with landlords and property management.
• Maintaining accurate office plans, signage, information screens, and common areas.
• Supporting cost control activities and identifying opportunities to improve facility services.
• Acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day facility matters.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have practical experience in facility services, maintenance, property operations, or a similar role.
• Be hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and take ownership from issue identification through completion.
• Be comfortable combining practical work with administrative responsibilities.
• Have experience supporting purchasing activities, suppliers, invoices, and cost follow-up.
• Communicate effectively in Norwegian and English.
• Have a strong focus on safety, service, cost awareness, and continuous improvement.
