Medical Sales Representative, Biosimilars, North-East Italy

Are you passionate about improving patient access to innovative therapies? Join our team as a Medical Sales Representative (working title: Business Access Manager), covering North-East Italy across Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (FVG).

This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with a leading biopharmaceutical company, helping to expand patient access to high-quality, cost-effective biosimilar medicines.

Job Overview

In this field-based role, you will manage commercial activities across your territory and build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders to support the adoption of specialist biosimilar medicines.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will engage with relevant healthcare decision-makers, providing the information needed to support appropriate product adoption and prescribing. You will help establish our client as a trusted partner within the biosimilars and biologics market while delivering agreed sales and market-share objectives.

The role involves regular travel throughout Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, developing and maintaining effective relationships across hospitals and other relevant healthcare stakeholders within the territory.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical sales experience within the hospital environment, ideally including experience working with hospital pharmacists and stakeholders involved with high-cost medicines.
• Ideally experienced in biosimilars or relevant specialist therapy areas such as Rare Disease, Haematology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Immunology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Orthopaedics or Rheumatology.
• Life Sciences degree or equivalent; an advanced qualification in Business Administration or Health Economics would be an advantage.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with both external customers and internal colleagues.
• Fluent Italian and good professional English.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
• Full driving licence essential.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is €41,800.00 - €62,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
