Shipping & Receiving Associate – 1st Shift
Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Support
Openwork is hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is primarily a shipping and receiving position, with forklift operation required as part of the job.
Candidates should have 2+ years of shipping and receiving or warehouse logistics experience, customer service and computer skills, and sit-down forklift experience. This is an extremely fast-paced environment, so strong multitasking and organization are important.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:
- Handle daily shipping and receiving.
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing materials.
- Check orders, quantities, and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
- Enter and update information in computer systems.
- Communicate with customers, drivers, and warehouse employees.
- Provide professional customer service.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
- Stage and organize materials.
- Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience.
- Sit-down forklift experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills.
- Experience with shipping paperwork and order documentation.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
Important
This is not primarily a forklift position. The main focus is shipping and receiving. Candidates must be comfortable with customer service, computer work, shipping documentation, multitasking, and warehouse responsibilities, while also being able to operate a forklift when needed.
