We're hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the ongoing expansion of Solina’s infrastructure. In collaboration with multiple partners, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s systems to ensure its reliability and security while ensuring integration of newly acquired companies to align with our Solina Standards.

General responsibilities and tasks

• Deliver advanced (3rd level) technical support to resolve complex system issues.

• Design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Solina's global infrastructure services.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the environment, incorporating change control processes and risk management considerations.

• Collaborate with IT Project teams in delivering broader IT services and applications, maintaining compliance with best practices and our standards.

• Support infrastructure projects, including coordination with internal and external partners.

• Integration of new sites within the group as part of M&A to ensure compliance with best practices and our standards.

Skills, requirements and knowledge 

• Bachelor's, master’s degree in computer science or equivalent by experience

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a system administrator or engineer

• Experience with Microsoft Windows, VMware

• Knowledge of Azure is essential

• Notion of Fortinet firewalling, routing and switching

• Experience with PRTG and Service Now is a plus

• Proactive and independent

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), fluent in English 

• Experience in multinational environment

• Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions is a plus

• Willingness to travel to other sites in Europe (minimum 15% of the time)

• Decisive, flexible, able to improvise, and works with precision. 

• Adherence to company policies on environmental, health, and workplace safety standards

Reports to the Group Infrastructure Manager (based in Belgium)

On-site position based at our Biggleswade's site.
