We are searching for a full-time Audit Report Writer to join our Audit Department. This role will be based in Naperville, IL.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to offering compensation that is fair, transparent, and competitive. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time
Essential job duties:
- Support the process of data and document extraction from source systems for migration
- Transform data and documentation into formats suitable for import using editing tools and scripting where appropriate
- Manage the import of data into third party systems and interface with suppliers where necessary
- Draft client audit opinions
- Assist in finalization of audit
- Correspondence with clients
- Keep up to date on audit legislation
- Other projects as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field of study
- Interest in and experience working with technology across multiple platforms
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience with Workiva a plus, but not required
- Deadline driven
- Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated, self-starter
