A Day in the Life
The AskHR organization delivers HR service support across the employee lifecycle, enabling consistent, compliant, and customer-focused people operations across the Asia Pacific region. The Job Changes team manages employee job change transactions and inquiries while partnering with Human Resources, Centers of Excellence, Human Resources Business Partners, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate execution of policies, processes, and system transactions.This role serves as the Regional Process Expert (RPE) for Job Change processes across APAC, balancing operational delivery with process leadership. The position acts as the primary subject matter expert for complex cases, drives process standardization and continuous improvement, and supports operational stability by providing leadership coverage and guidance to the team.
The HR Support IV role serves as the Regional Process Expert for Job Change processes across APAC. This position combines operational case management with process leadership responsibilities, supporting service delivery excellence, process governance, stakeholder engagement, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role acts as a key escalation point for complex issues, provides subject matter expertise, and serves as backup to the Supervisor to ensure operational continuity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process Job Change transactions and employee inquiries while meeting service level, quality, productivity, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Job Change processes, policies, systems, and transaction management.
- Investigate and resolve complex operational escalations, process issues, and system-related inquiries.
- Coordinate daily operational activities, including workload balancing, queue management, backlog monitoring, and work prioritization.
- Coach and support team members on process execution, quality standards, policies, and systems.
- Drive process standardization, continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge management, and documentation updates.
- Monitor operational metrics, analyze trends, identify risks, and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with Human Resources Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, Tier 2 teams, and other stakeholders on process enhancements, projects, testing activities, and service delivery initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 8+ years OR Associate's Degree and 6+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in Human Resources operations, shared services, employee lifecycle administration, or related HR service delivery functions.
- Experience managing complex HR transactions, employee inquiries, and case management activities.
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert for HR processes, policies, and systems.
- Experience analyzing operational issues, resolving escalations, and implementing process improvements.
- Experience using case management, workflow, or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Job Change processes within a regional or global shared services environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, or similar Human Resources service delivery platforms.
- Experience leading onboarding, process training, or knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, or process optimization techniques.
- Experience supporting operational reporting, performance metrics, and workforce planning activities.
