Domain Security Engineer — Data
Location: Jakarta (onsite) | Reports to: Security Engineering Manager
Role Summary
Owns implementation and operation of the data security domain: database/data activity monitoring and, from Phase 2, data security posture management across cloud data stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate DAM and DSPM
- Discover, classify and monitor sensitive data across databases and cloud data stores
- Define and tune data access and anomaly-detection policies
- Investigate data access alerts and support incident response
- Integrate data security tooling with SIEM/SOAR
- Partner with data owners and compliance stakeholders on controls
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in data security engineering
- Hands-on experience with DAM, DSPM or data classification tooling
- Understanding of cloud data stores (managed databases, data lakes/warehouses)
- Cloud-first mindset; comfortable with modern data platforms
- Data security or cloud security certification a plus
- Jakarta-based; onsite
