The Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager. We are seeking a capable, independent, and dynamic professional to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting student recruitment and outreach initiatives, with a primary focus on promoting the University and recruiting students from overseas. Experience navigating international education systems will be considered an advantage.
In addition, the Assistant Manager will contribute to the development of other markets as assigned by the Head of Office, ensuring the University’s recruitment strategies remain effective and competitive across diverse regions.
The appointee will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Promote the University’s undergraduate programs and admissions. Build and maintain good relationships with targeted high schools.
- Organize all kinds of student recruitment activities, including programs, events and campaigns for prospective students for international countries primarily.
- Deliver admissions presentations at secondary schools and public events to promote the University.
- Initiate, plan and organize early student engagement activities to nurture potential secondary school students.
- Maintain close connections with current and graduated Student Ambassadors to support recruitment activities.
- Provide market-specific strategies and plans and new initiatives and statistical analysis of recruitment data.
- Work on cross-team and ad hoc projects as assigned that contribute to overall recruitment goals and initiatives.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of professional work experience, preferably in the education or marketing sectors. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, alongside demonstrated maturity, strong commitment, and a collaborative team mindset. The candidate should enjoy engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and take initiative in proposing creative recruitment strategies. Flexibility to work outside normal office hours (including evenings and weekends) and undertake international travel as assigned is required. Experience in public speaking, project and event management, and data analysis is a definite advantage. Good command of written English and Chinese, and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
