Through licensing preparation, job shadowing, hands-on assignments, and mentoring, you’ll learn how insurance professionals build relationships, support clients, identify appropriate business opportunities, and help protect what matters most. This position offers meaningful industry experience and a foundation for future growth based on performance, business needs, and available opportunities.

  • Practice professional telephone, email, meeting, and business-writing etiquette.
  • Learn privacy, confidentiality, and information-security expectations for handling sensitive client and company information.
  • Explore how to identify ideal clients, make thoughtful business decisions, and build a sustainable book of business.
  • Learn how Production Agents develop professional relationships, networks, and centers of influence.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and scheduling or booking tools to communicate, collaborate, and manage work.
  • Strengthen time-management, prioritization, organization, and efficiency skills.
  • Build professional confidence through preparation, accountability, sound judgment, receptiveness to feedback, and Dress for Your Day expectations.
  • Assist with workflow support, projects, and other duties that contribute to team and agency goals.

Okay, so what’s in it for me?

While we expect a lot from our employees at FNIC, we also provide a lot in return.

  • Competitive Pay: We strive to pay our employees competitive market compensation.
  • Dress: Dress for your day – bring your whole self to work so you can be as comfortable at work as you are in your personal life.
  • Wellness: Mental health support and resources are available through our free EAP program. You can also stretch away the stress 24/7 by participating in workout classes (available to remote employees too!)
  • Education: Eligible employees may receive tuition reimbursement in accordance with applicable program requirements and company policy.
  • Fun working environment: Who likes a boring working environment? No one. We have plenty of fun with frequent company outings, food days, and fun competitions to name a few!
