Overview

Are you an accomplished hospitality marketing leader who knows how to inspire teams, build powerful brands, and turn innovative marketing strategies into measurable business results? Do you thrive on influencing others, developing marketing talent, and driving commercial success across a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts?

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Corporate Director of Integrated Marketing to provide strategic marketing leadership across an assigned portfolio of hotels and resorts. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality marketing professional who brings a strong track record of leadership, commercial expertise, and the ability to guide and influence marketing teams across multiple properties.

In this highly visible, above-property leadership role, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor to property marketing teams, general managers, regional leadership, commercial teams, and ownership. You'll play a critical role in coaching and developing property marketing leaders, elevating marketing performance, and ensuring strategies align with each hotel's unique business objectives, revenue priorities, and brand positioning.

You'll provide strategic direction and oversight across the full spectrum of integrated marketing, including digital marketing, paid media, public relations, social media, brand storytelling, and guest engagement. Rather than managing day-to-day execution, you'll empower property teams with the guidance, resources, accountability, and expertise needed to deliver exceptional results.

Working collaboratively with Davidson's corporate marketing resources, agency partners, and hotel leadership teams, you'll identify growth opportunities, strengthen marketing effectiveness, share best practices, and drive measurable commercial success across the portfolio.

Success in this role requires more than exceptional marketing expertise. We're looking for a confident, collaborative leader with strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a demonstrated ability to influence, mentor, and develop teams while balancing the diverse needs of multiple hotels and ownership groups.

This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in the Southeastern United States to effectively support our regional portfolio of hotels and resorts. Travel to assigned properties will be required.

If you're a strategic thinker, passionate hospitality marketer, and proven leader who's ready to make an impact beyond a single property, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead the strategic direction of integrated, omnichannel marketing plans across an assigned portfolio, guiding property teams in developing, refining, and prioritizing initiatives aligned with each hotel's business objectives, revenue strategy, positioning, and key priorities.

  • Partner closely with property commercial leaders to uncover opportunities that elevate brand awareness, generate demand, increase guest engagement, drive direct bookings, and maximize revenue throughout the traveler journey.

  • Bring a marketing perspective to commercial strategy discussions, delivering insights, innovative ideas, and actionable recommendations that optimize marketing effectiveness.

  • Shape compelling hotel and restaurant positioning, marketable offers, programming, and demand-driving initiatives that differentiate properties and connect with target audiences.

Integrated Marketing & Brand Oversight

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across the full marketing mix, including websites, SEO/AEO, paid media, email marketing, public relations, social media, influencer partnerships, and other guest-facing marketing touchpoints.

  • Evaluate channel strategies, messaging, content, and creative execution to ensure a cohesive guest journey and strong, differentiated brand positioning.

  • Inspire property teams to uncover compelling brand stories, memorable guest experiences, community partnerships, and creative property activations that support commercial objectives.

  • Advise on brand-building initiatives, photography, video production, and content quality, collaborating with property teams, agency partners, and Davidson's specialty marketing resources.

Portfolio & Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with property marketing leaders, general managers, commercial teams, operations leaders, and ownership representatives to align marketing priorities with business goals.

  • Champion proactive communication, clear expectations, timely follow-through, and collaborative problem-solving to keep marketing initiatives moving forward.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each hotel's unique market, brand identity, ownership expectations, resources, and business challenges, tailoring marketing guidance and support to maximize impact.

  • Navigate competing portfolio priorities, anticipate challenges, and proactively communicate opportunities, risks, and recommendations to appropriate corporate and property stakeholders.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Collaborate with hotel teams to evaluate agency strategies, recommendations, deliverables, and results across public relations, paid media, social media, digital marketing, and specialty marketing disciplines.

  • Connect property marketing teams with Davidson's corporate marketing resources, preferred agency partners, innovative tools, and subject matter experts to strengthen marketing capabilities and results.

Reporting, Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Turn marketing data into actionable insights by reviewing key performance indicators, channel effectiveness, business trends, and reporting to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic improvements.

  • Guide property teams in evaluating campaign performance, optimizing marketing investments, and adjusting strategies based on measurable results and evolving commercial priorities.

Property Team Development & Marketing Excellence

  • Inspire, coach, and develop property marketing professionals through strategic guidance, constructive feedback, collaborative problem-solving, and sharing of marketing best practices.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and execution excellence while empowering property teams to maintain ownership of their day-to-day marketing activities.

  • Partner with corporate marketing colleagues to elevate portfolio-wide marketing excellence through improved processes, templates, training, technology adoption, and consistent standards.

  • Stay ahead of the curve on hospitality marketing trends, emerging platforms, artificial intelligence capabilities, and evolving consumer behavior, translating innovative ideas into practical, results-driven recommendations.

  • Travel to assigned hotels and participate in meetings as business needs require, strengthening relationships and ensuring alignment across the portfolio.

If you're thrilled about leading transformative marketing efforts and creating impactful brand experiences, apply now and become an essential part of our dynamic team!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of progressive hospitality marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a director-level hospitality marketing role; multi-property or above-property marketing experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing hospitality marketing teams, including the ability to influence property-level marketing leaders and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.

  • Proven experience partnering with hotel ownership groups, general managers, and commercial leadership teams to influence marketing strategy and business performance.

  • Strong expertise in integrated marketing strategy, paid media, website optimization, SEO/AEO, social media, public relations, and email marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing performance, translate data into actionable insights, and connect marketing strategies to measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with the confidence and credibility to lead and inspire teams without direct reporting authority.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, responsiveness, organizational abilities, and commitment to delivering on expectations.

  • Ability to successfully manage priorities across multiple properties, adapt to changing business needs, and consistently meet commitments in a dynamic hospitality environment.

  • Experience working with independent hotels and major hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.

  • Proficiency with common business productivity tools and familiarity with hospitality marketing systems, analytics tools, and reporting platforms.

  • Must reside in the Southeastern United States and be willing to travel to assigned hotels and resorts and work varied hours as business needs require.
