Job Purpose

Translate the North America Food Safety & Quality transformation strategy into coordinated execution across sites and functions. The role directs deployment of quality programs, governance, and site-level improvement plans while maintaining visibility, accountability, and alignment with global and regional FSQ priorities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Translate the quality system strategy and KPI framework into site-level execution plans, including capital projects, facility upgrades, and product protection device actions.
  • Direct leaders across Quality, Laboratories, and Sanitation to deploy targeted quality assurance programs that resolve defined issues and sustain performance.
  • Coordinate with Global Quality Council members and committees to operationalize policy and system decisions through local standards and routines.
  • Drive execution of the FSQ NA three-year transformation plan across all six pillars and two enablers by assigning ownership, sequencing work, managing dependencies, and ensuring clear visibility to FSQ leadership and the executive sponsor.
  • Define expected performance, establish governance and operating mechanisms, and hold leaders accountable for implementing approved interventions so improvements are risk-based and sustainable.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related science or technology field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in a food-related or scientific field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements, including USDA, FDA, or CFIA, as relevant.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capability and experience using quality and continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, develop, and retain talent.
  • Understanding of procurement processes.

Work Environment & Schedule

Work environment, travel expectations, and schedule flexibility will be confirmed based on business needs and role location.

Physical Requirements

Physical demands include, but are not limited to, occasional activity or conditions sustained up to one-third of working hours; an upright stance; sedentary work with occasional exertion of 0-10 pounds of force; and limited movement from the workstation for brief periods.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$164,200.00 - $205,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
