How you'll make an impact in this role
Lead daily department operations to maintain seamless workflow, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality imaging care in a safe and supportive environment.
Mentor and empower imaging staff through comprehensive orientation, hands-on coaching, and continuous feedback to foster team growth and operational excellence.
Ensure clinical and technical quality by accurately positioning patients, overseeing equipment quality control, and troubleshooting systems to deliver precise diagnostic outcomes.
Maintain complete data integrity by guaranteeing all patient documentation and images submitted to PACS are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with regulatory standards.
Serve as a key clinical resource across multidisciplinary teams, collaborating to solve complex workflow challenges and championing clean, safe departmental facilities.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the MR boards through ARRT within 12 month of hire/transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
- M-F with either (5) 8 hour shifts typically 645-315p or (4) 10 hour shifts possible as well. Limited call and weekend/holiday call rotation with no overnight call shifts.
- BLS, ARMRIT or ARRT MRI advanced certification required. 3+ years experience in MRI preferred for Lead role
