Logistics Equipment Management Specialist

ASR International is seeking a Logistics / Equipment Management Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard Mission Essential Personnel Equipment Product Line at USCG Base Portsmouth.
This primarily onsite role provides equipment-set subject matter support, status reporting, fielding planning, logistics strategy development, and coordination with Coast Guard units. Government-directed travel to operational units is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter resource for MEPE-supported equipment sets.
• Produce equipment status reports using the MEPE configuration-management tool, including CMPRO as applicable.
• Develop logistics support strategies and fielding plans for new or changing equipment sets.
• Coordinate with Coast Guard units to promote compliance with supply, maintenance, and logistics procedures.
• Conduct onsite assessments at Coast Guard units to collect information on equipment supply and maintenance.
• Support accurate asset visibility, configuration control, supply management, and maintenance information.
• Safeguard CUI and sensitive data and complete annual DHS/USCG security, privacy, and IT training.
• Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of related logistics or equipment-management experience, or an associate degree.
• Experience with equipment status reporting, asset or configuration data, fielding planning, or lifecycle logistics support.
• Ability to coordinate with operational customers and conduct structured onsite assessments.
• Ability to work primarily onsite in Portsmouth, Virginia, and travel as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to pass Tier 1/NACI and obtain/maintain CAC eligibility before performance.
• Ability to protect CUI and complete mandated DHS/USCG training.

Qualifications:

• USCG, DHS, DoD, or other federal logistics experience.
• Experience with CMPRO, product lifecycle management, configuration management, or accountable-property systems.
• Experience supporting PPE, CBRN, ballistic protection, organizational clothing, or maritime law-enforcement equipment.
• Strong written reporting and stakeholder-coordination skills.
