Working closely with Consultants, Medical Secretaries, the Enquiry Centre, Reception, Finance and Senior Management Teams, you will contribute to both excellent patient outcomes and the achievement of hospital business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards to patients.
  • Be a point for contact for complex patient, consultant and insurer queries.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations for self-pay patients.
  • Support the management of private patient enquiries, ensuring opportunities are maximised and patients receive prompt responses.
  • Monitor patient pathways from enquiry through to admission, ensuring excellent communication throughout.
  • Develop strong relationships with consultants, medical secretaries and key hospital stakeholders.
  • Support the achievement of private patient revenue and conversion targets.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and data protection requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience within a private healthcare, healthcare administration or patient coordination role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with consultants and stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of self-pay and insured patient pathways.
  • Experience using Patient Administration Systems (PAS).
