Responsible for leading the technical change for one or multiple (commercial of the shelf) applications and accountable for the respective lifecycle management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• IT Service Management: Understanding of IT service management principles, processes, and best practices (e.g., ITIL)

• Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and applications, including hardware, software, and networking

• Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and optimize IT services

• Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and customers

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to identify, analyze, and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations

• Governance and Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies

• Responsible for the technical change of the owned applications as part of the IT Solution Delivery

• Accountable for operations including lifecycle and vulnerability management

• Guidance of an agile team (or respective setup in classic delivery) and collaboration with Product Owners, Solution Architects and the delivery team.

• Translation of business requirements into technical capabilities

• Ensure the adherence of the application design with standards and guidelines of Architecture. In case of gaps, the Application Responsible identifies and mitigates risks

• Supervise the software development and technical implementation of an application, ensures appropriate unit testing and decides with IT Service Owner on production readiness from IT perspective

• Responsible for sizing of required development resources

• Owns estimations and product offerings

• Plan the release of the application in strong collaboration with the according Product Owner and IT Service Owner within the given Change and Release Management Framework

• Provide 3rd level support within the support organization of incident & problem managemet

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field

• Min. 5 years experience as Application Responsible, Technical Lead or Lead Developer

• Deep hands-on understanding of modern business process & case management platform technologies and process management notation CMMN and BPMN

• Proven experience as a Java developer, with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise-level application development.

• Excellent understanding of software architecture, enterprise architecture and development processes

• Strongly decisive and result-oriented person with effective and efficient working and communication style also under high pressure
