Your Next Career Opportunity – ERP Technical Lead
Experienced ERP Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This role will be central to building a sustainable internal ERP capability, supporting a major enterprise transformation, and ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and supportable over the long term. The Technical Lead will have the opportunity to shape development standards, modernization practices, technical roadmaps, release processes, integrations, and the future ERP operating model.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical lead for D365 Finance & Operations and provide guidance across development, extensions, integrations, reporting, workflows, platform performance, and supportability.
- Establish practical development standards, design review practices, coding guidelines, documentation expectations, and quality practices aligned to Microsoft and industry standards.
- Lead the technical design, development, review, and delivery of enhancements, customizations, integrations, reports, data services, and platform extensions.
- Own Application Lifecycle Management practices including Azure DevOps, source control, branching strategies, deployment planning, release coordination, environment management, and automation opportunities.
- Partner with enterprise integration teams to design and support scalable interfaces with banking partners, enterprise applications, data platforms, third-party providers, and cloud services.
- Support platform performance, reliability, availability, monitoring, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution for complex technical matters.
- Promote standard D365 F&O capabilities wherever possible and reduce unnecessary customization, complexity, and technical debt.
- Ensure technical solutions are designed and adopted with appropriate consideration for security, data protection, access management, regulatory expectations, operational resilience, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead knowledge transfer from implementation partners and help build internal technical capability through mentoring, documentation, runbooks, and sustainable support practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, solution architects, infrastructure, security, data, and external partners to deliver business-ready and supportable ERP capabilities.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of enterprise application development or ERP technical delivery experience, with strong hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
- Deep knowledge of X++, extensions, integrations, workflows, reporting, data entities, security concepts, and D365 F&O development patterns.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services, CI/CD, source control, release management, deployment governance, and environment strategy.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, integration patterns, APIs, data movement, automation, and cloud-based enterprise architecture.
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, reviewing technical designs, and coordinating work across internal and external delivery teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to business stakeholders, technology leaders, and implementation partners.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications or equivalent hands-on experience highly desired.
- Experience with Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Power BI, SQL, data migration, or enterprise reporting solutions strongly desired.
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, post-go-live stabilization, and transition from partner-led delivery to internal ownership.
- Experience working in complex, multi-location, or global business environments.
