Digital Project Portfolio Manager (M/F)

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Digital Project Portfolio Manager (m/f) to join our Digital Performance and Project Portfolio team which is part of the Digital Governance and Portfolio organization, based in Toulouse, France.

The Digital Performance & Portfolio team is ensuring to deliver Value to our business with industry best practice tools, methods and processes, supporting and guiding the project managers and the related Digital Business partners.

Enabling digital transformation of the company in moving more and more to an agile-oriented delivery model.

The job holder will be located in Toulouse. The position will require occasional business travels as the working environment is international.

Your challenges:

In this role, you won't just manage tasks; you will orchestrate a holistic value stream that directly influences our digital evolution.

• Digital Project Portfolio planning and its Governance 

• Make sure that the expected value is delivered to business with an effective Portfolio reporting based on dashboard and KPI reports 

• Manage new Project opportunities and demands

• Contribute to the financial Portfolio planning and work in close collaboration with the Finance teams

• Support Projects and improvement initiatives  in the frame of Project portfolio and Project management  esp. in the frame of Agile

• Train, guide and support Project manager in the frame of tools and processes

• Additionally, coordinate the preparation of and facilitate the Quarterly Digital Council with all AD Business executive representatives.

Your profiles:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in the frame of Project and Portfolio management  - operationally as Project Manager for larger (>1M) IT Projects and preferable worked as a Project Portfolio Manager

• Experience in business management / Information Technology

• Certification and knowledge of IT Project management frameworks, preferable PMP and agile (CSM) certified

• Proven track record in delivering complex IT solutions in the frame of international project teams 

• Ability to work in a fully cross cultural und international team

• Experience to work in an agile, creative and lean startup mindset

• Management, communication and coordination skills are a must

• Language skills: Fluent in French and advanced level of English.
