Quality Data Engineer – Manufacturing & Quality Systems (Kalrez®)
Location: Newark, DE (On-Site)
Qnity is seeking a Quality Data Engineer to support Kalrez® manufacturing and quality operations through data-driven solutions that improve reporting, traceability, process visibility, and decision-making. This role will develop dashboards, applications, and data interfaces that connect manufacturing, engineering, and quality systems while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, Power Apps, and reporting tools.
- Build user-friendly data collection and reporting solutions for manufacturing and quality teams.
- Support SPC, SQC, MRB, and other quality data systems.
- Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance with quality system requirements.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT to deliver practical digital solutions.
- Automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SQL, APIs, and data management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Power Platform preferred.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and the ability to create practical, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Understanding protocols such as OPC, TCP/IP, and Serial communication.
