Job Summary
As a Facilities Technician, you will support the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of critical facilities systems that enable semiconductor manufacturing operations.
You will work on systems supporting utilities, electrical infrastructure, controls, water treatment, environmental systems, and facility operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
- Monitor facility performance and respond to system abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and utility-related issues.
- Support facility improvement and infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Maintain maintenance documentation and records.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering teams.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Support operational reliability and sustainability initiatives.
Other & AI Responsibilities
- Utilize approved AI-enabled and digital tools to improve maintenance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement and sustainability programs.
Candidate Profile / Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Able to work 12 hour shifts.
Must Have Technical Skills
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of engineering systems.
- Electrical or mechanical fundamentals.
- Computer literacy.
Must Have Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, teamwork and collaboration.
- Willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to facilities or utilities systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices.
- Internship experience in industrial environments.
AI Requirements
- Responsible use of AI-enabled tools for operational and analytical tasks.
