JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Undergraduate Admissions Office (UAO) is seeking candidates for administrative support assistant positions on the Admissions Services and Evaluation Team. Positions are available for 25-40 hours per week, depending on office needs and employee preference. The UAO offers flexible hours, Monday through Friday with in-office and remote options.  Training will be conducted in person at the University Park campus for 4-6 weeks, depending on assigned tasks.

 

Duties include the data processing of transfer credit, project-based work, and additional data entry where computer skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.

 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applications will be reviewed until position is filled.

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
