Responsibilities

PRN Physical Therapist in acute care hospital. Weekends are required. We are seeking a compassionate and driven clinician to join our dynamic acute care and inpatient rehab teams. This unique role offers the opportunity to float between acute care and inpatient rehab, providing comprehensive services across the continuum. This role is ideal for therapists who enjoy fast-paced environments, critical thinking and daily collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

 

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation 
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
