Acuna Dentistry is now hiring a Part Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) as they continue to provide quality care experiences to their patients!

 

Our patient-centered dental practice in Winter Park, Florida is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Hygienist to join our caring team. 

 

New Hygienist grads are welcome to apply!

  

2 Days Per Week Part Time Dental Hygienist Schedule

Tuesday 6:45am - 4:00pm and Thursday 6:45am - 5:00pm

1 hour break for lunch 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
• Reviewing patient's history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Active Florida Dental Hygienist License
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• New grads welcome to apply!
• 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred
• Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
• Experience with dental practice software, Denticon preferred
• Seeking a new team collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
