We are searching for a visionary, decisive, and hands-on Chief Product Officer to take the helm of our product organization and shape the future of our digital experience. The Chief Product Officer is responsible for defining the long-term product vision and driving the strategies to get there such as optimisation of the mobile flow, additional products and a top notch customer experience and service. This senior executive role leads the entire product function—including Product Management, Product Design, and Product Analytics & Experimentation—driving customer experience, commercial growth, and operational efficiency across all brands and global markets within the high-volume travel e-commerce landscape.
In this role, you will partner closely with colleagues on the Management Team, Engineering, Data, Supply, Operational and Commercial teams within both Travix and Trip.com Group to deliver a modern, mobile-first, and AI-driven online travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and the technology platforms of the parent organization, Trip.com Group.
- Commercial Growth: Lead product innovation across the full customer journey (search, booking, post-booking) to drive measurable improvements in conversion, retention, and ancillary attachment.
- People Management: Build, empower, and mentor a high-performing, multi-disciplinary product organization, fostering a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and excellence
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the vital bridge with the business, driving cross-functional planning, tracking, and coordination among global Engineering, Product, Design, and Commercial teams.
- Future Focus & AI Integration: Champion and execute mobile-first and AI-driven initiatives as a core part of the product and platform strategy.
- Execution Management: Manage project timelines, dependencies, and communication across multiple brands and business lines, while facilitating risk mitigation, issue resolution, and regular progress reporting to leadership.
What you bring to the table
- Experience: 12+ years of product management experience. Candidates must possess a proven track record of leadership experience in a high-volume, global eCommerce or travel technology business.
- Leadership: 7+ years of senior executive leadership experience (e.g., VP, Head of Product, or C-level). This role requires extensive experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Global Team Management: Proven ability to scale and lead across different geographies, specifically demonstrating experience coordinating teams in both EU and
- China time zones.
- Program & Delivery Leadership: Strong, demonstrable experience delivering complex mobile platform projects, including mobile web and native/hybrid apps, in a consumer-facing environment.
- Matrixed Organizations: Demonstrated success in managing and collaborating with senior stakeholders, external partners, and navigating a complex matrixed organization or group structure.
- Culture Building: Exceptional, human-centric leadership skills with a track record of fostering a high-velocity product culture. This involves promoting experimentation, collaboration, and rigorous data-driven decision-making.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and articulating both long-term strategy and short-term project status.
- Deep expertise in data-driven experimentation and A/B testing frameworks.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with the hands-on coordination required for major program delivery.
- A strong customer-centric mindset with uncompromising standards for UX and design quality.
