Join us on our mission to shape the future of our industry.
Cohesity is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and Service Logistics to lead the end-to-end operational backbone that gets our data security and management appliances built, shipped, and supported around the world. This leader owns supply chain planning, contract manufacturing and quality/test operations, and global service logistics — including RMA fulfillment, spares management, and field service dispatch — ensuring Cohesity can scale reliably while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a highly cross-functional, senior leadership role reporting into Global Operations, with direct influence on product availability, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
Own end-to-end supply chain strategy across demand planning, S&OP, procurement, and inventory management for Cohesity's hardware appliance portfolio.
Executive level vendor engagement and management focused on technology alignment, pricing optimization, and supply assurance.
Balance inventory investment against service levels and lead times, driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and working capital efficiency.
Build resilience into the supply base through dual-sourcing, risk assessment, and proactive component/EOL management.
Manufacturing Operations
Direct contract manufacturing (CM) partners and internal manufacturing operations, including production planning, test/quality processes, and manufacturing systems (e.g., test data and reporting).
Drive first-pass yield, throughput, and quality metrics across CM sites; own root-cause and corrective action processes for manufacturing defects and field failures.
Own NPI (new product introduction) operations readiness in partnership with Engineering and Product Management.
Service Logistics & Global Support Operations
Set strategic direction for global RMA and spares logistics — including parts dispatch, depot repair, advance replacement programs, and field engineer coverage — while empowering functional leaders to own day-to-day execution.
Define SLA targets and service-level tiers for parts delivery and technician dispatch (e.g., 4-hour/next-business-day commitments), and hold the organization accountable to RMA cycle time and SLA-attainment goals.
Shape the long-term network strategy for third-party logistics, depot repair, and field service partners, ensuring global coverage, scalability, and cost efficiency as the business grows.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global team across supply chain, manufacturing operations, and service logistics functions.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Support, Product Engineering, Finance, and Legal to align operational capacity with business growth and customer commitments (SLAs, entitlements, contracts).
Own and report key operating metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turns, RMA cycle time, cost per repair) to executive leadership.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
12+ years of progressive supply chain, manufacturing, and/or service logistics leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally in enterprise hardware/technology or data infrastructure.
Proven track record managing contract manufacturers, global logistics networks, and service/RMA operations at scale.
Strong analytical and systems background (ERP/NetSuite, Salesforce Field Service or similar, manufacturing test/quality systems) with the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
Experience building and leading global, cross-functional teams, with excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
