About the role:


The Staff Dining Floor Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the canteen front of house activities, in collaboration with the kitchen and stewarding teams. This role is dedicated to replenishing buffet, salad bar items, fridges items, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the serving area, managing the functionality of equipment, and ensuring the Canteen environment meets health and safety standards. This allows the cook to focus on food preparation and cooking, while the stewarding team concentrates on cleaning.

What you will do:

  • Assist in creating a pleasant dining experience for all staff members.
  • Buffet and Salad Bar Management: Regularly monitor and refill buffet stations and salad bars to ensure they are well-stocked with fresh items. Make sure all items are presented attractively and are within safe temperature ranges.
  • Regularly check and maintain the coffee machine and other kitchen equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the Staff canteen Chef.
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working condition.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage items, including those in the fridges, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist with stock rotation and ensure that products are used within their best-before dates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the serving areas, including wiping down surfaces and ensuring trash bins are emptied regularly.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient service to staff, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the canteen offerings.Ensure all communication reflects Four Seasons standards of professionalism, accuracy, and guest-centric service.

What you bring:

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible in schedule- able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays.
  • Positive personality and good interpersonal skills for interfacing with colleagues, and team members.
  • Ability to maintain personal cleanliness. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 25kg at times.

  • Full-time position.
  • Primarily AM and PM shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs.
